The City of Dayton is a charter city with a council-manager form of government. The City Council consists of a mayor and six councilors who are nominated and elected from the city at large.
The Office Specialist I's main responsibilities are a variety of routine clerical and administrative work and as the Code Compliance Officer who interprets, applies and enforces Dayton Municipal Code and ordinances. This work is performed under the supervision of the City Manger.
